Depression
Anxiety
Trauma
I have helped many clients manage symptoms of depression with concrete, small steps empathy, and compassion. Through treatment, you will implement small lifestyle changes along with confronting unhelpful thinking patterns that make depression worse. Overall, clients can expect to see their symptoms reduce in severity over time.
Life Transitions
Have you experience a significant change in your life that has led to increased stress? Or maybe you're struggling to adapt to constantly changing roles and expectations in today's world? Therapy may be a helpful place to explore your struggles in a supportive and understanding environment.
Anxiety can prevent us from doing a lot of what we love to or need to do in life. Overwhelm and stress can lead us to feeling stuck or not in control of our own lives. Therapy treatment can help you understand your anxiety and make real changes to overcome what is keeping you stuck. Clients can expect to explore the roots of their anxiety along with learning to face challenges rather than avoid them.
Teen & Family
It is true, there is no handbook for raising teens. Similarly, there is no handbook for how to be a teen in the 21st century. Therapy can help encourage better communication and wellbeing between teens and their families. As part of teen and family therapy, we work together to formulate goals and a treatment plan that works best for your child and your family. As a clinician, I place great importance on your child's mental health and relationship with their caregivers.
Post-traumatic stress can show up in a variety of ways. You may be experiencing problems that extend into your daily life and relationships. Treatment for trauma disorders involves developing a compassionate understanding of your experience and healthy ways to move forward.
